MEET THE STAFF
MATT MAROTTA
Matt Marotta is the Owner and Founder of Power Arm Performance and a former collegiate baseball player at both NJIT and St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC). His experience as a college athlete, combined with his background in strength and conditioning and player development, has shaped the training philosophy and culture behind Power Arm.
During his career at STAC, Matt earned East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-ECC, All-East Region, and All-American honors. As a senior, he posted an 8–2 record with a 1.94 ERA and two saves while leading NCAA Division II in fewest hits allowed per nine innings. Matt finished his three-year STAC career with 106 hits offensively and 114 strikeouts on the mound.
Following his playing career, Matt transitioned into collegiate coaching, beginning at STAC before joining Felician University as the program’s pitching coach. During his tenure at Felician, he helped lead the program to multiple conference championships, coached multiple CACC Pitchers of the Year, and helped develop pitching staffs that established program records.
Matt’s experiences as a collegiate athlete, coach, and strength and conditioning professional became the foundation for Power Arm Performance. His vision was to create a complete athlete-development environment combining baseball instruction, strength and athletic performance, arm care, recovery, and long-term development. Today, his leadership and training philosophy continue to shape the standard and culture behind Power Arm.

Fernando “Fern” Peralta is the Co-Founder and Owner of Power Arm Performance and one of the driving forces behind the company’s vision, strategy, and continued growth. A former collegiate baseball player at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC), Fern has combined his background in athletics with a strong business mindset to help transform Power Arm from an idea into a comprehensive athlete development organization.
As a co-founder, Fern has played an instrumental role in building the structure and systems behind Power Arm. His leadership extends beyond the training floor, with a focus on business development, strategic planning, organizational operations, partnerships, and identifying new opportunities for growth. His ability to see the bigger picture while developing the infrastructure needed to execute that vision has been a major part of Power Arm’s evolution.
Fern continues to help guide the long-term direction of Power Arm as the organization expands its teams, training programs, sports performance services, and overall reach. Working alongside Power Arm’s leadership team, he helps ensure that each area of the company operates with a clear purpose and remains aligned with the organization’s standards and vision.
His combination of baseball experience, business leadership, and forward-thinking approach has helped establish the foundation for Power Arm’s continued success. Fern remains focused on building an organization designed not only to develop athletes at a high level, but to continue evolving, expanding, and setting a higher standard for the athlete development experience.
JODI BUSTILLO
Jodi Bustillo serves as the Facility Manager at Power Arm Performance, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility and helping ensure everything runs efficiently. As a central point of contact for athletes, families, coaches, and staff, Jodi plays an essential role in creating the organized and professional environment that defines Power Arm.
Jodi manages all aspects of daily facility operations, including scheduling, program coordination, communication, and the many behind-the-scenes details required to keep Power Arm running at a high level. Her organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across every area of the facility make her an invaluable part of the Power Arm team.
Today, Jodi continues to be a driving force behind the daily operations and continued growth of Power Arm Performance. Her leadership and commitment help provide athletes, families, and staff with a first-class experience while ensuring the facility maintains the high standards expected throughout the organization.
FACILITY MANAGER
VP / GENERAL MANAGERJAKE MILLER
Jake Miller serves as the Vice President and General Manager of Power Arm Performance, bringing a background in collegiate and professional baseball along with extensive experience in business operations, organizational management, and facility partnerships. A former collegiate pitcher, Jake competed at Lackawanna College and SUNY Brockport before continuing his playing career professionally.
Following college, Jake pitched professionally for the Alpine Cowboys of the Pecos League. His experience competing at both the collegiate and professional levels provides him with firsthand knowledge of the preparation, discipline, and environment necessary for athletes looking to advance through the game.
Today, Jake plays a major role in the day-to-day business and operational side of Power Arm Performance. As Vice President and General Manager, he helps oversee facility operations while managing relationships with outside baseball organizations, teams, and programs that utilize Power Arm for training. He works closely with coaches, directors, and organizational leadership to coordinate scheduling, logistics, partnerships, and the behind-the-scenes systems necessary to keep the facility operating at a high level.
Jake's combination of professional baseball experience and operational leadership provides a unique perspective within Power Arm. His ability to understand the needs of athletes and coaches while managing the business, partnerships, and logistics behind the organization makes him an integral part of Power Arm's continued growth and long-term direction.
BRANDON RIVERA
Brandon Rivera serves as the Director of Teams and Media Operations at Power Arm Performance, bringing an extensive background in collegiate coaching, pitching development, recruiting, and program leadership. A former four-year collegiate pitcher at the NJCAA and NCAA Division II levels, Brandon transitioned into coaching following his playing career and spent eight years on the SUNY New Paltz baseball staff, primarily serving as the program’s Pitching Coach and Lead Assistant.
During his tenure at SUNY New Paltz, Brandon played an integral role in one of the most successful eras in program history. In 2024, he helped lead the Hawks to their first SUNYAC Championship, first NCAA Tournament appearance, first NCAA Tournament victory, and a program-record 31 wins. As pitching coach, Brandon oversaw the development and management of the pitching staff while helping multiple pitchers earn All-SUNYAC and SUNYAC All-Tournament honors. His work on the mound helped establish new standards for pitching development and performance within the program.
Beyond the collegiate level, Brandon has built an extensive background in player development, travel baseball, and college recruitment. Throughout his career, he has helped more than 100+ student-athletes continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level while working with players ranging from youth baseball through the professional ranks.
Brandon oversees all Power Arm Teams, including program development, coaching staffs, roster construction, scheduling, college exposure, recruiting, and player placement. He also leads Power Arm’s media operations and brand development, combining his experience in baseball, recruiting, and communications to expand opportunities and exposure for Power Arm athletes.

DIRECTOR OF HITTINGBRENNAN PRICE
Brennan Price serves as the Director of Hitting at Power Arm Performance, bringing a unique and accomplished professional baseball background to the organization. A former NCAA Division II player at Felician University, Brennan was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 29th round of the 2016 MLB Draft before signing with the Toronto Blue Jays organization, where he began his professional career as a pitcher.
Following his time in affiliated baseball, Brennan made the transition from professional pitcher to professional hitter and developed into one of the Frontier League’s premier offensive players with the Florence Y’alls. In 2022, he hit .309 with 24 home runs, 91 RBI, and a 1.020 OPS before following it with a .304 average, 22 home runs, 75 RBI, and a 1.039 OPS in 2023. His performance earned him back-to-back Frontier League All-Star selections.
Brennan’s unique path through professional baseball has shaped his approach to developing hitters. Having competed professionally on both sides of the game, he brings an advanced understanding of hitting, pitching, approach, preparation, and the adjustments required to succeed against high-level competition.
Brennan oversees Power Arm’s hitting development, working with athletes from the youth level through college and professional baseball. His professional experience, offensive success, and ability to translate advanced hitting concepts into individualized development make him an integral part of Power Arm’s player development system.
CHRIS CEPEDA
Chris Cepeda serves as our Player Development Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing an accomplished collegiate and professional playing career along with collegiate coaching experience to the organization. Chris began his college career at Dowling College, where he went 7–1 as a freshman and was named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Year while helping lead the program to the 2016 ECC Championship.
Chris continued his collegiate career at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC), where he was part of the program’s run to the NCAA Division II College World Series and later earned Second Team All-ECC honors as a starting pitcher. Over his collegiate career, Chris compiled a 27–13 record, 3.22 ERA, and 276 strikeouts across 324 innings, establishing himself as a consistent and accomplished collegiate pitcher.
Following college, Chris continued his career in professional baseball, competing in both the Frontier League and Atlantic League. He spent multiple seasons with the Long Island Ducks, including a 2022 season in which he went 5–2 across 32 appearances. His experience competing at the professional level further shaped his understanding of preparation, development, and the adjustments required for athletes to succeed as they advance through the game.
After his playing career, Chris transitioned into collegiate coaching and player development. Today, as Power Arm’s Director of Player Development, he works across the organization to help create a structured and progressive development system for its athletes. His combination of collegiate success, professional playing experience, coaching experience, and commitment to individualized development makes him an integral part of Power Arm’s approach to preparing players for the next level.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT / HEAD COACH
DIRECTOR OF PITCHINGJAMES MULRY
James Mulry serves as the Director of Pitching at Power Arm Performance, bringing an accomplished NCAA Division I and professional pitching background to the organization. A four-year pitcher at Northeastern University, James made 44 career starts for the Huskies and competed as a member of their weekend rotation. During his senior season, he helped lead a Northeastern pitching staff that finished with the lowest team ERA in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Throughout his collegiate career, James competed against some of the highest levels of amateur and professional talent in the country. He pitched in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League and, during a collegiate exhibition against the Boston Red Sox, struck out MLB All-Stars Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz in consecutive at-bats. He also produced several dominant performances at Northeastern, including a 13-strikeout outing during his junior season.
Following college, James continued his career in professional baseball, pitching for the Ottawa Champions of the Can-Am League and the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League, among other professional stops. With Schaumburg, James established himself as an effective left-handed reliever, beginning the 2018 season with a 3–0 record and 2.42 ERA across his first 24 appearances. His professional career also gave him experience competing internationally.
James oversees Power Arm’s pitching development and works with pitchers across multiple ages and competitive levels. His experience as a Division I starter, Cape Cod League pitcher, and professional player provides him with a unique understanding of pitching development, preparation, arm care, and the demands required to advance through the game. His knowledge and experience are central to Power Arm’s approach to developing complete, healthy, and competitive pitchers.
ANDREW OJEDA
Andrew Ojeda serves as the Director of Sports Performance at Power Arm Performance, overseeing the strength and conditioning development of athletes across all sports. A former collegiate hockey player and longtime athlete, Andrew brings a competitive background and firsthand understanding of the physical preparation, consistency, and discipline required to perform at a high level.
Following his playing career, Andrew continued working with athletes through coaching and player development, including experience with the North Jersey Avalanche hockey program. His background working with competitive athletes across different stages of development has helped shape a training philosophy centered on building stronger, faster, more explosive, and more resilient athletes.
As Director of Sports Performance, Andrew oversees Power Arm’s weight room, athlete programming, and long-term physical development systems. His approach emphasizes individualized programming built around an athlete’s sport, age, training history, movement quality, strength, speed, power, mobility, and overall performance needs.
Andrew works with athletes across baseball, softball, hockey, and other sports, helping establish the physical foundation necessary for long-term athletic success. His experience as both an athlete and coach, combined with his commitment to structured strength and conditioning, makes him an integral part of Power Arm’s comprehensive approach to athlete development.
DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE
LEAD TRAINER - HEAD COACHRICH CESCA
Rich Cesca serves as a Lead Trainer and Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing an extensive background in NCAA Division I and Division II baseball, recruiting, player development, and collegiate summer baseball to the organization. A former catcher and first baseman at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC), Rich helped the Spartans capture the 2016 East Coast Conference Championship before immediately transitioning into collegiate coaching.
Rich has built an accomplished coaching résumé across multiple levels of college baseball. During his time at STAC, he helped coach a program that won the NCAA East Region Championship and finished No. 3 nationally, while later serving as the program’s pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. He has also coached at SUNY New Paltz and within the prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League, where his experience has included serving as both a pitching coach and manager while helping develop numerous players who advanced into professional baseball.
Rich served as an NCAA Division I Assistant and Pitching Coach at Quinnipiac University. During his tenure, he has helped develop All-MAAC pitchers while contributing to pitching staffs that have ranked among the conference leaders in ERA, strikeouts, and shutouts. His extensive collegiate coaching and recruiting experience provides Power Arm athletes with firsthand insight into the development, preparation, and expectations required to compete at the next level.
At Power Arm, Rich works extensively with the organization’s athletes and teams, bringing a detailed and development-driven approach to instruction. His background as a collegiate catcher, combined with years of experience coaching hitters, pitchers, and position players, gives him a unique understanding of the game from multiple perspectives. His experience in NCAA baseball, recruiting, and player development makes him an invaluable resource for Power Arm athletes looking to develop and ultimately advance to the collegiate level.
ALEX MORISSEY
Alex Morrissey serves as a Trainer and Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing a successful high school and collegiate playing background to the organization. A native of Airmont, New York, Alex attended Suffern High School, where he was named the baseball program’s Team MVP and later earned Second Team All-League and All-County Honorable Mention recognition.
Alex continued his career at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham, competing as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder at the NCAA Division III level. His experience competing at the collegiate level provided him with firsthand knowledge of the preparation, development, and consistency required for players looking to advance beyond high school baseball.
Following his playing career, Alex transitioned into coaching and player development at Power Arm, where he has become heavily involved with the organization’s youth athletes and teams. His recent experience as a collegiate player allows him to relate particularly well to younger athletes while reinforcing the fundamentals, preparation, work habits, and competitiveness necessary for long-term development.
Today, Alex works extensively within Power Arm’s youth development system, helping players build a strong foundation as they progress through the organization. His collegiate playing experience, ability to connect with young athletes, and commitment to teaching the game make him an important part of Power Arm’s coaching and player-development staff.

Dyonna Marotta serves as a Softball Trainer and Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing her experience as a former NCAA Division II collegiate softball player to the organization. Her background as a high-level collegiate athlete provides her with firsthand knowledge of the preparation, discipline, and development required to compete at the next level.
Dyonna works closely with Power Arm’s softball athletes, focusing on fundamental skill development, position-specific training, and building the confidence and consistency necessary for long-term success. Her approach combines her collegiate playing experience with individualized instruction designed to help each athlete continue progressing.

JASMINE MILLER
Jasmine Miller serves as a Softball Trainer and Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing experience as both a former collegiate softball player and current high school coach to the organization. Her background as a player and coach provides her with a strong understanding of the development, preparation, and fundamentals necessary for athletes to succeed at every stage of the game.
Jasmine works closely with Power Arm’s softball athletes, focusing on individual skill development, fundamentals, game preparation, and building confident, well-rounded players. Her current coaching experience allows her to bring a valuable perspective to training while helping athletes understand how their development translates directly to competition.

Alex Fishberg serves as a Trainer and Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing extensive experience from both professional and NCAA Division I baseball. A former Division I player at Iona University, Alex went on to compete professionally for seven years before transitioning into coaching and player development.
Following his professional career, Alex built his collegiate coaching experience through positions at Iona University and St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC), working extensively with pitching staffs, strength and conditioning, and player development. His combination of professional playing experience and collegiate coaching provides athletes with firsthand knowledge of what is required to compete at the next level.
Alex serves on the NCAA Division I coaching staff at Saint Peter’s University while continuing to work with athletes at Power Arm. His experience in pitching development, collegiate coaching, and professional baseball makes him a valuable resource for Power Arm athletes looking to develop, prepare, and advance their careers.
JAMES REILLY
James Reilly serves as a Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing a high-level playing background and extensive pitching experience to the organization. A former NCAA Division I pitcher at James Madison University who later competed at St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) then going on to pitch professionally.
James’s experience competing at a high level has shaped his approach to coaching and developing young athletes. His background as a pitcher provides him with firsthand knowledge of pitching development, preparation, arm care, and the work habits necessary for players who aspire to advance through the game.
James plays an important role in Power Arm’s youth development program and works extensively with the organization’s 13U team. His playing experience, baseball knowledge, and ability to connect with younger athletes help establish the fundamentals, competitiveness, and development habits that prepare Power Arm players for long-term success.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE - POWER ARM COACHLUKAS EGENHAUSER
Lukas Egenhauser serves as a Sports Performance Coach and Power Arm Teams Coach, bringing a successful collegiate playing background and passion for athlete development to the organization. A former collegiate infielder at Le Moyne College and Montclair State University, Lukas earned Second Team All-NJAC and ABCA All-Region All-Defensive Team honors during his career at Montclair State.
Lukas brings his experience as a high-level collegiate athlete into both the weight room and on-field development of Power Arm athletes. His approach emphasizes strength, athleticism, fundamentals, preparation, and developing the consistent habits young athletes need to succeed as they progress through the game.
Lukas works across Power Arm’s sports performance program while also coaching within the Power Arm Teams organization. His combination of recent collegiate playing experience, sports performance knowledge, and ability to connect with developing athletes makes him a valuable part of both Power Arm’s training and team development programs.
PATRICK BENN
Patrick Benn serves as a Remote Programming Coach at Power Arm Performance, bringing recent NCAA Division I pitching experience and a strong background in pitcher development to the organization. A left-handed pitcher from Pearl River, New York, Patrick competed collegiately at Manhattan University before finishing his career at Seton Hall University.
During his time at Seton Hall, Patrick competed in the Big East and finished the 2025 season with a 2–0 record and 3.04 ERA across 15 appearances. His experience competing at the Division I level has provided him with firsthand knowledge of the preparation, throwing routines, arm care, and development required for pitchers to perform at a high level.
Patrick works with Power Arm athletes through remote programming, helping pitchers follow structured and individualized development plans outside of the facility. His recent collegiate experience and understanding of pitching development allow him to provide athletes with detailed programming designed around long-term development, preparation, and performance.
